Ryan O'Neal may have been the love of Farrah Fawcett's life, but their long-time romance evidently didn't qualify him for rights to her estate.
Fawcett, who died of cancer in June at age 62, did not name O'Neal in her will, a copy of which was obtained by RadarOnline. According to the document posted only, the couple's lone child together, Redmond Fawcett O'Neal, will receive the most cash of any person named in the will: $4.5 million.
4.5 million to a drug addicted son in jail. Not sure that was such a wise choice. Certainly leave the money to her only son, but couldn't it have been left in some kind of trust until he had stayed clean and sober for a designated amount of time?
Maybe she left Ryan out because he has plenty of his own money? Just a guess.
It never mentioned a trust fund, but I certainly hope one was set up for her son.
I could give a rat's rear about Ryan...I do hope she left the money for her son in some sort of trust that ensures the money isn't used for drugs but is there for him if/when he moves ahead in his life.
I saw a news report about this yesterday. She did leave it in a trust to Redmond (to be overseen by two executors) with Redmond being given a monthly allowance and enough money to buy his own home.
(Wise decision on her part, IMHO.) Hope the executors can make the money work (and last) for her son. Let Ryan fend for himself!

Great so leave 4.5million dollars to a drug addict son who probably is going to spend it all in a month when he gets home from jail!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and poor Ryan that was at her bedside from day one of her illness to her last breath. How shocking is that? I can't believe she would do something like that to the man of her life and her son? The man in her life? I know blood is thicker then water but come on he is going to sniff that up immedietely... What a shame
Poor Ryan?? I dont think so. The more I read about this man the less respect I had for him. He was a pathetic abusive father (all his children are/were drug addicts)and a selfish man with drug problams of his own. THe last time Redmond was arrested it was with his Dad.
He may have been by her side at the end days, but I agree with the other poster-let him fend for himself.
The money is in a trust fund. I hope that her son rises above the name O'Neil and his sorry dad and recovers to a life worthy of his moms wishes.
No, I don't feel sorry for Ryan O'Neal. Glad Farrah didn't give him a dime. The guy tried picking up his own daughter at Farrah's funeral. He has been known throughout the years for stepping out on her.
Glad to know that the money is in a trust. Hopefully, Redman changes his life and makes something out of it.
Farrah left 100,000.00 to an old boyfriend, you would think she would leave something to Ryan and he was there by her side for most of her illness.
