I think he sucks-just another example of the direction a lot of pop music is going these days.

No doubt the performance was disgusting and disappointing, I agree with the rest of America about that.

BUT, NO ONE can say the kid is not talented He has incredible vocal range and a beautiful tone to his voice. In fact, his voice was one of the best voices we heard last night on the entire AMA show, second only to Whitney Houston herself.

I do fear however, that if he's not lucky enough to have more prudent, wise managers and handlers he will squander his career.

He is usually an excellent performer. His voice is wonderful and he has charisma.

Having said that, I thought his performance at AMA was disquieting and unpleasant to watch.

I feel sorry for him on that performance partly because I know he can just do better.

He was a bit screechy and it's good that Simon wasn't there... but unfortunately, a bunch of other people were, and his singing was just off.

I'm not going to judge his performance one way or another. Some on here say how perverted he was and stuff... that's the way T.V. has gone lately. I'm not surprised at what's expected of performers these days.

The other morning after breakfast, we sat down to watch a bit of football (that's 11:00 am in my timezone) and the commercials with GoDaddy right there in the morning. Why do we need to see Danica Patrick taking another woman's boobs right to the face so early in the morning like that?

Thank you no. I don't have children but don't understand how you would have to explain network T.V. at 11:00am to a child like that. Mommy, why does Danica Patrick need the biddy?

Oh, back to the OP; I voted for Chris.

I don't watch these droll shows...I did catch the Whitney Houston song.......but after the commotion I had to go find the clip.

Tacky Tacky Tacky..it looked like a performance that belonged in a sleazy gay bar off the strip in Vegas...but then again I complained about the Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson halftime show. (sureeeeeeeee it was an "accident")

But everybody brushed that under the rug....I'm sure this will get swept up too.
I'm just curious when people are going to get their morals back and say enough's enough.
No $$$ of mine will be spent on any of these people.

Agreed. He was bound to push the "envelope" eventually and what better timing than the AMAs in front of potentially millions (?) of people! Great strategy on his part.

Personally, I don't get him??? Okay so we know he's gay (big deal) but I don't find him appealing or sexy in the slightest the way I know so many women (and men) did Prince who brought the androgenous sexuality. Maybe that is not Adam Lambert's goal, but if not than what is? Cause his performance, aside from the simulated OS and same sex kiss, was mediocre at best.

Amen brother. It gave up pop music in the 7th grade. I just laugh on the inside when I see these "talents" crash and burn as the entertainment system juggernaut keeps churning.

I thought the whole thing was disgusting but then, I'm disgusted by about 95% of what is on TV nowadays.

I'm with the poster that said, ok, Adam is gay. But must he FLAUNT it constantly? He really is not an appealing guy, gay or not.
