there are gambling addicts and alcoholics and drug addicts. Some of them could be rehabilitated, the trick is to figure out which ones could and which couldn't. Without trying to give them a chance, how would one know?
I just think it's much too easy for us, the emotionally non-involved, to *advise* to break a family. I think they are giving it a chance (she is giving it a chance), that's all she's doing. She may leave after two years, she may not, - we just don't know.
"I hate myself for getting in this situation!" confessed Tiger.
Just a day before his beautiful 30-year-old wife Elin arrived in Mississippi to spend five days in counseling with her husband, the 34-year-old golfer fell apart, crying like a baby in front of fellow patients, say sources.
But just as Tiger was trying to cope with his rehab breakdown, news broke of another mistress, No. 19 - Emma Rotherham - a British mother of two who lives near Woods' Orlando area home. And reports claimed that Tiger paid her a whopping $500,000 to keep quiet about their 18-month affair, some of which occurred while Elin was pregnant.
Tiger Woods hit the roof when he found out he had to take a lie detector test during his sex addiction therapy - and spiraled into a nightmare of anxiety, sleepless nights and medication.
"He went absolutely ballistic when he was told during the early days of his treatment at the Gentle Path rehab program that a polygraph test is required of all patients," an insider told The ENQUIRER.
"Tiger came into the program believing there was nothing wrong with him.
"Sex addicts are continual liars, but there's no lying inside Gentle Path. When Tiger went into therapy, he didn't know that the lie detector was part of the deal.
"He was so stunned that he started having anxiety attacks. He began having trouble sleeping, and the center prescribed medicine to help with the stress."
Tiger, 34, knew if he failed the lie detector test he would be browbeaten and shamed by clinicians, who insist that the only road to a cure is complete honesty, said the insider.
"In there, you have to come clean. They make you take another test, and another, until you have told the truth about everything.
"After that, they know there is no place to hide."
I suspect he'll be practicing a lot after he gets out of rehab and will play at least once before the Masters in early April. If that's the case it won't leave much quality time for Tiger to be with Elin and his children...if they are even part of his life anymore.
It will be most interesting from a number of standpoints when he finally does come out of hiding.
Nordegren's twin sister Josefin, took Woods' and Nordegren's two children - daughter Sam, two, and son Charlie, six months - to see the whales at SeaWorld in Florida.
Charlie becomes younger by the day (Benjamin Button?).... He was born more than a year ago, in January 2009. Makes you wonder about the rest of the article.
It will be interesting to see Tiger coming out, yes. They must have decided that golf is his lifeline and purpose, and could help him as nothing else would.
