highcotton,

You are hilarious! You must be refreshing every news page for the last week and running here to post things as soon as you see them. This thread has become my source of info for this sad saga. You are like a kid in a candy story with this!

Security guards from the Isleworth community where Tiger Woods has a home take pictures of MJ Radio show personality Meredith Walusek as she holds a sign reading, "Tiger- They offered me $500,000- I'm keeping my mouth shut!"

Hahaha! It's like a game...and I have some time on my hands, so the timing of this ever-changing saga is good for me. I play tournament golf myself, which makes my interest in Tiger even higher.

Gawd when is he going to just come out and admit, (even if he says there were a 100 women), - and everybody involved will finally start healing??

Geez, this is sure good Entertainment void-filling since the Guiding Light went off the air.

Mr. Paul: Please report when Woods kills somebody DUI; assaults somebody or is accused of anything remotely close to what Sick Con-Vick of the Eagles did.
Oh, guess who's endorsement contract Nike renewed and jerseys are apparently selling like hotcakes?

I'm not condoning the cheats out there but gee whiz, our friggin PRESIDENT did it; Magic Johnson did it... it should make news when it is revealed and proven just who doesn't?!

Now if he was in the "Steroids" group, I could see endorsements tanking, beings it IS competitive Sport. But this? His wife will deal with him, just like the countless millions of others do.

Imagine if society had been this celebrity-obsessed when Babe Ruth played!! He'd have made Woods look like a college frat amateur.

Tiger's alleged 'transgressions' from left to right, top row: Jaimee Grubbs, Holly Sampson, Jamie Jungers, Mindy Lawton. Bottom row: Cori Rist, Kalika Moquin, Rachel Uchitel, and a suspected mystery eighth who is reported to be Kristy Gallacher - a British TV host.

On what grounds?? What Tiger did is beyond wrong, of course but many celebs/highly-paid athletes/actors do what Tiger is accused of doing. If you (I don't mean you personally ) punish one, you must punish all to be fair. That's just my opinion.

Each one stands on its own. I doubt AT&T would cut a deal with someone like Dennis Rodman because of his poor character. However, something like a Wrestling match or B grade movie may be interested.

Tiger WAS the clean family man, popular among both men and women - therefore he had many corporations interested in him. That list will definitely drop, along with the willingness of any corporation to pay what they have in the past. If Tiger struggles on the golf course, then his sponsor list will narrow even further and the money they're willing to pay will drop like a rock. You can bet that the corporations who have contracts with Tiger have both eyes glued to the news and it is a daily discussion on what to do going-forward. These corporations are interested in one thing - earning net profits. If Tiger can't make them money they are not interested in him. They also have shareholders they must answer to, so the decisons they make affects the "owners" of the corporation. And they also have consumers, so you can be assured they are already trying to determine how their customers and the public in general feels about Tiger Woods. And, at least right now, it doesn't look too good!
