He could be a little too old to really appeal to the young kids of today.....but maybe not. My kids loved his show and his movies.

His movies were a hoot! We used to slo-mo the Large Marge transformation --cinematic brilliance! And his Tequila dance, and there's no basement at the Alamo!

I would love to see the show I thought it was great when I was younger and his movies have become cult classics, he's a genius. I remember when he came out at the MTV music awards (I think it was here) after his theater "incident" the crowd went wild, he couldn't get a word in for 5 minutes with all the applause. His line was, "heard any good jokes lately?"

I remember when the late night comedians tried doing jokes about him and they got booed.

My DW and I are total PeeWee fans! I rank PW's Big Adventure as one of my list of top movies of all time. We also enjoyed laying around the house on Saturday mornings watching PW's Playhouse.

It's unfortunate that his incident shelved a creative genius for too long!

I don't know that his career ended. I remember seeing him in Blow. And something else.... ok opening another tab to ck IMDB
Maybe all the below has just been marking time because all Paul Reubens wants to be is Pee Wee I don't know. But hes had and taken other opportunities.
As long as his sexual predilections aren't kid based I don't think anyone has a problem. I think the masturbation thing was only an issue because he had a kids show.

I like PEE WEE...I live in Sarasota and take my word: Our Police Department is more interested in CRUISING/BAITING Adult Movie Houses and Gay Beach Areas; than actually "tackling" crack houses and "real" crime...IMHO. .
