I keep seeing Whitney Houston all over the television as if she is some amazing controversy sensation. It is so irritating because it is obvious that she has lost her voice and her story is so sordid and low class that it actually cheapens my respect for her. It makes me not like her or appreciate her singing.

Your thoughts?

She's just trying to divert attention away from her rival, Mariah. It's musical politics.

She's broke, that's all. Needs to generate some cash.

Although I hate Mariah's so-called singing. I at least have more respect for her. She is always pleasant and charming in interviews and doesn't appear to be weighed down with a billion sordid issues.

Yeah, they've both lost their voices.

Every time I turn around she is leaching off of Oprah. And Oprah has no clue. She keeps praising Whitney as if she is still the #1 singer of 1989. Times have changed.

Sounds like you saw today's Oprah rerun of Houston's interview.

Mariah Carey is garbage, Whitney is a much better singer....

... but this is classic celebrity act, take the camera off them for 5 minutes and they will do ANYTHING to get attention back
