NEW YORK, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- U.S. comedian and radio personality Artie Lange stabbed himself nine times in an apparent suicide attempt, a law enforcement source told the New York Post.

Lange, who has battled weight issues and an addiction to drugs for years, was hospitalized during the weekend for undisclosed reasons.

Sorry, but he had to know that stabbing himself wasn't going to do the job. Anyways, hope he gets the help he needs. Don't know why people have to try to kill themselves, it is always best just to ride things out and see what will happen.
