That video was brutal. If I had paid to see that sweaty mess, I would have demanded my money back. Her long pause was designed to get the audience cranked up so that when she did go for the big note they would be so pumped they wouldn't notice she was nowhere even close. It is insulting to her audience for her to expect anyone to pay to see this mess.

She should do free concerts for awhile. Work to get her voice back, earn the trust of her fans again and then maybe, just maybe be good enough to once again charge to see one of her concerts.

She is still a trainwreck and I am not entirely sure she's off drugs.

I've said it on similar posts in the past Whitney has lost her voice. She sounded HORRIBLE on her debut appearances. So sad to see. Whitney's downfall is her own doing and her ex can't be the blame. She chose him and she also grew up on a rough side of Jersey and I'm sure she has seen and experienced more than the rest of us in leading an unfavorable lifestyle. Didn't one of her brothers get killed from buying drugs with Brown? Anyways, she was an adult when she met her ex and I don't blame him for the way she turned out. Her own father was suing her on his death bed and she didn't even go to his funeral. It is a shame her and Bobby even have kids.

Also, in reference to JayZ isn't he being investigated by the FED's?

Yeah I read that about Jay-Z...I hope things work out for him. I read something about Beyonce as well and the House of Dereon under investigation. They are both a powerhouse couple and I wouldn't want to see anything detrimental happen to them

That's pretty mean. Whitney is done as a musical artist, we all know that. We should leave her alone to work her life out. She should probably quit the biz for good.

Forgot to add Whitney is broke by many reports so that is why she is coming back. But the love and passion for her art which she once had is gone and it is so obvious other wise she wouldn't be trying to sing with the beaten up voice. She is only coming back for the $$$ which is really sad. I realize everyone has to make a living but in order for her to maximize her dollars she should have gotten her voice on track before trying to comeback.

Can she ever get her voice back? I tend to think that part of her life that "sparkled' so much is gone forever, but I don't know anything about singers voices.

If she gives her voice a rest, stops smoking and drinking, and sees a vocal coach I'm sure she can get it back. But unfortunately her ego and desire to make money and lead an unhealthy lifestyle has gotten in the way of her taking care of her self and her art.

To see the youtube of her doing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl and to listen to her now is just shocking. To see her clear eyed and that voice at it's very best. She doesn't even seem to be struggling. She was so confident. Now, you can tell by the way she moves the microphone away, she has absolutely no confidence in her voice anymore.

That is from nothing but neglect and abuse.

Whitney smokes? So sad. Classic case of someone that no longer takes their career or talent seriously. As a legendary singer, she should be protecting her voice, not poisoning it.

ugh, there are people out there who would kill to have Whitney's old voice and even a small chunk of her success, and she squanders it on cheap highs like cigs and crack. she's no better than Amy Winehouse in that respect. shameful. she doesn't deserve to come back to the top. she should just fade away and make way for a new talent who won't throw away and ruin their gifts
