We lived in Monterey,CA for a year and the elementary school my son went to supplied volunteers for the Pebble Beach Pro Am. My job was to ride around on a golf cart all day and make sure the water at each green was full and had cups. I saw many celebs and have pics of most I saw including Clint Eastwood, Ray Romano, Kevin Costner, Kevin James, Glenn Frye(sp), & Chris O'Donnell. The only 2 I spoke to were Huey Lewis- he hit a bad shot and wanted to know if I knew where his ball went... very nice man. The other was Carson Daly... he was late for his scheduled practice time and asked if I could give him and his group a ride to the next tee. He was very friendly and posed for a pic with me. I drove them to the next tee and then back to the club house.
My only other celeb encounter was about 2 weeks ago. We went to NYC for the weekend and had just finished lunch at the Columbus Circle Whole Foods. We were about to get on the escalator up to the Samsung experience when a couple of guys w/video cameras jumped in front of us to get pics of a group coming down. It was Eva Longoria Parker looking beautiful in sunglasses and ponytail and her entourage which included that bald fashion guy from 'E'(can't remember his name).

Default Norma Rae

Remember this movie? Sally got kudos for it, I was going to college in Auburn Al when they were filming it close to the school, we were able to get close enough to watch the part where they are hauling her into the police car. She was so tiny! Of course we just were hoping the "Bandit" would make an apperance as was rumored, I did not even know who Beu Bridges was and he was at a frat party and talked to me. Now I see him on occasional shows and think, god he looks like a grandpa, so what does that make me

No relationships, just chance encounters.

I was standing at a urinal at the Denver Int Airport back in 74 when OJ Simpson walked up, unzipped and did his business next to me.

Now that I think about it, I should have "splashed" a little on him. That was a joke. AND please don't ask the obvious question about his anatomy. People were saying HI OJ! even while he was in the bathroom.

I met "Weezy", from The Jeffersons. It was outside a playhouse in West Hollywood back in the early 80's. She was very nice.

My mom once had a date with Elvis before he was "really" famous back in the day when he performed at state fairs. For me, it was Bruce Boxleitner who I am sure no one knows or remembers from the 80's. He is now married to Melissa Gilbert.

70% of these stories here are ****ing BS. I dated Pamela Anderson once but her boobs were too big, so I had to dump her. I played golf a couple times with Dennis Rodman. Right now, I play polo with Prince here at Minneapolis Polo Club. It is unbelievable how many "celebrities" are City-Data members!!

Reread the question... It has nothing to do with being a celebrity it has to do with dating a celebrity. And this is no offense AT ALL to anybody who lives outside of california & n.y. but the simple truth is when you grow up in these two places it's kinda part of everyday life for the most part. If you spend your summer days in malibu your gonna run into paris hilton. If you spend them in east hampton your going to run into p. diddy if you go to the coffee bean (best coffee ever) your gonna run into george clooney. Regardless of what people think they really do leave the house and are pretty damn normal. The other thing is when you do grow up around it you dont get phased by it and act like an idiot when you see these people. I dont know maybe l.a. really is lala land. I prefer the east coast always have. OBTW i know who bruce boxleitner is he was on some show called scarecrow & mrs king with one of charlies angels.
