Peoria I had Richard Pryor's mom and in Jax I had Ken Norton on my routes....both really sweet people.
20 yrs ago I worked at a hotel that would house the guests of the Celebrity dinner theater.

Alan Hale Jr(skipper, gilligan's island) was one of the nicest men I ever met famous or not.
Abe Vigoda (Fish, Barney Miller) quiet but nice.
The Judds fought alot.
Lisa Welchel (played Blair on Facts of Life)....let's just say maybe she was having a bad day.
The Oak Ridge Boys would come in once in a while and always remembered my name.
I met Deborah Moffett once but didn't know who she was when I was introduced to her lol.
Worked with the backstreet boy named Doroughs dad.
That's about it. Oh and Scott Stapp is a friend of our Sheriff.

Well I think this was the most fun thread there is here. I actually read each and every single one. So here is mine:

Im in the cabinet business. I did work for Celine Dion, Mike Tyson, Tiger Woods, Lance Malone (disgraced politician for those of you in Nevada), some famous NFL and MLB sports figures I can not mention, a band member from Aerosmith, and a famous comedian you all know. Sorry I just cannot say the some of these names.

My sisters boy plays on the school football team with Jon Bon Jovi's son. Jon does not believe in sending his kids to private school. My Mom sat right next to him in the school bleechers. She says no one bothers him for autographs and such. Everyone respects his privacy in public outings at school.

My ex wife was best friends with Crosby Stills Nash's long time photographer. When they were touring several years ago Buzzy got us front row seats in Las Vegas and Pomona California. He also got us front row seats for David Crosby and Judy Collins (remember suite Judy Blue Eyes). We sat next to Judys family in the front row. Of course we met David Crosby several times.

My ex wife dated Roger Fisher from Heart. He dumped her for the now famous inter band relationships that threatened the bands success. She also hung out in Steve Hacket's (origional Genesis) private studios in London. The ex wifes ex husband was the lead singer of the old 70s band Wishbone Ash and she wrote the song "Karmans Gate" which she received royalties for years. She also dated Bryan Adams for a year.

My current wife was also a groupy. She combed Billy Gibbons of ZZ Tops beard and partied with him in a Galveston Hotel where she worked. She partied with the entire band Mr Mr. Oops !! I didnt say too much did I? She hung out drinking with the wife Louise Weezie Jefferson (Isabel Sanford)George Jeffersons TV wife. She got funny looks because she is white and Isabel was black.

Wow, this IS a fun thread! I hope I didn't waste my celebrity - meeting karma when I ran into Willy Nelson at my local hospital over 20 years ago. eeeewwww. He was visiting his mom. Yes, he reeked of pot.

My parents are friends w/ relatives of Dirks Bentley. I was on a flight w/ one of the cute guys from Deadliest Catch. My best friend got hit on by one of the guys on.......

SSG I never heard of Wishbone Ash until I met her. Since you heard of them you must be from Seattle or Vancouver, BC. I knew him well because his kid became my step son. I did go to his recording studio and CD distribution store in Kitsalano. I also been to Karman's Gate, the place the song was written about. It is an old home in Sook on the bay overlooking the Cascade Mountians on the Washington side.

All I have to say is I am so jealous!!!!
Gregg Allman is my dream man. He's always been. I have him with me for almost 20 years now on my left ankle. Funny, my ex was so jealous of my tat! He swore (in his words) "I did" Gregg at some point in my life... I wish!

15 years ago I saw them again with the Jeff Healey Band at the Arts Center (IIRC). What a shame I took my ex, could have gotten back stage with another guy I knew who also played in a band. I still kick myself.

The show was killer still. I had front row, Dickey Betts was walking off... I was screaming... He came back, got a guitar pic and bit it, then handed it to me. While it wasn't Gregg... it was still cool.

I haven't had a relationship w/any famous people... the only real "encounter" I've had was on a flight from Orange County to Cincinnati. George Clinton of Parliament/Funkadelic had the aisle seat on my row. It was a little nutty, the crazy colored hair, sunglasses inside... he pretty much passed out as soon as he got on the plane. At one point I had to use the restroom and didn't want to wake him up so I had to scoot by him. My only encounter w/a celebrity was me putting my ass in his face.

Me - nada. Hubby just recently met a retired HOF baseball player at a sports meeting. He gave him his business card in case he could find time to arrange a baseball signing event. The man called hubby the next day on his personal cell phone. Sorry - can't remember his name (sports are my life - lol)

My mom dated Warren Beatty in high school and my brother in law's brother dated Sandra Bullock in high school (same high school in Arlington, Virginia).

My uncle is friends with Katie Couric.

I have not had any significant run ins with Famous people but I'll give you what I got. As a teenager my best friend was cheating on her boyfriend with 80,s rap star a different used to hit on this friend relentlessly. I also think this friend slept with 3rd 80's rap star. I used to talk to the 1st one a lot on the phone back then. . She was supposed to set me up with the 3rd one but I wasn't the type of girl who would put out ESPECIALLY if she had sampled the goods.

I also briefly dated a two bit rapper who wrote an insulting song (that I think was about me) Looking back on it it was all pretty innocent the furthest we went was kissing but I was mortified by the song. Thank goodness it wasn't a hit. I grew up with a rapper that was kinda famous in the eighties. He even had a guest star role on the Cosby show. I can't think of his rapper name I only remember his real name Eddie & that he was thought of as really cute by the ladies. Him and I were pretty close as children.
I was at a Spy club in the 90's in SOho. It was pretty happening then. I met famous black actor there & it seemed like he was beginning to hit on me. At the time I was there with another guy. My "date" inserted himself in the conversation (sort of like staking his claim on me) & my conversation with said actor was over before it began.I was so not into my date & we both knew it.
At a concert in Amsterdam One of the guys in the 90's r&b group ( with a very famous brother in the music business)sang a song to me a gave me a rose. After the concert they offered me & a girl I met ( & became friends with) at the concert I ride home. We turned them down.

I was also at the Tunnel nightclub in the 90's and someone from a very famous rap moguel's/ pop icon entourage came over to inform me that this guy wanted me to come join him in "VIP". I found this to be quite insulting. I refused and acted like I had never heard of this person. By the way this is a person we have all heard of albiet he was as famous then as he is today.

I had a run in with a 1 hit wonder r&b star from the late 80's/ early 90's at an after hours club. He was enjoying a little nose candy.

I also worked with a girl who called herself Harvey Kietel's stepdaughter. She had a small role in bad luietenant (sp). This girl had loads of pictures with famous people. She had pictures of herself with Christian Slater & Jennifer Aniston as babies. She also had pictures of herself at her wedding with harvey Kietel, Jack Nicholson, & Robert Deniro. She would always tell me how she wanted to introduce me to Robert D because he'd love me. I was single then so I was into it. She became a really heavy drug addict. Her and a couple of other girls I worked with did too. I tried to help her but drugs have never been my thing so we lost touch.

I also lived with a basketball player who played on the Chicago Bulls championship team with Jordan. I met him & his friend who he was secretly sleeping with while he was playing ball in Europe I lived for a month in his mansion in Europe. It was a strictly platonic relationship. He rarely spoke to me. I also was friendly with another basketball player who was famous in the US as a basketball player before he moved to Europe. He was a complete j-e-r-k. I think he was trying to sleep with me & his tactic was to insult and start retarded disagreements
