Talking More to add

I met Kelly Ripa & her hubby at a soap opera party that I won tickets for. They were a bunch of Abc soap stars there. Including the guy who is on Desperate Housewives as Dana delaney's character's husband. He is so yummy. I talked to him for a long time & danced with him too.I took pictures with them, had lengthy conversations and even danced with some of them. It was fun.

I also met Ashford & Simpson at a fundraiser party years ago. I met Michael from Goodtimes when I was a child. It was way after Goodtimes was older. I was at an event with my mother & different childhood best friend. We ran up to him and asked for his autograph but he refused. He instead gave us a black power lecture that was really a let down at the time. I was like 6.
I also me Rita Marley at this event. We asked for her autograph too. She obliged.

I met the guy who plays Marty Funkhauser on Curb Your Enthusiasm at the Countrywide Invitational party the night before the golf tournament. I also go to meet Babsy Sinatra, but we see her around town all the time, so that was no big thing. There were a bunch of celebrities there, but I was too wrapped up in my own little world out on the dance floor to pay attention to them.

Having lived in both Los Angeles (the West side) and the Palm Springs area, I've seen a lot of stars, but half the time I don't know who they are and not being "star struck" it's not really any big deal to me. What IS a big deal to me is at Emerald Ball 2 years ago I got to dance with Tony Davalani!!!

I forgot one from my earlier post. I lived in Hillside, New Jersey from age 0 to 5. My next door neighbor was Phil Rizzuto (scooter). My Mom had him in her class. She said he was always an unliked jock. Look how he turned out. I was too young to remember. But to this day I hate the Yankees.

A few years back, I was at a party with my grandfather and we met Steve Young. Steve Smith came to my school when he was playing at the University of Utah and talked to all of the students and gave autographs. That is about all I can think of right now.

I have been in a movie with Blake Lively, Mary Steenburgen and Keith Carradine.

I did an infomercial with Chef Tony

I have met Anne Wolfe (female boxer) that is one athletic chick I would not want to get into any altercation with.

I met, flirted with, smiled real pretty for and almost asked out Mark Henry (WWE) if any of you are familiar with wrestling.

actually when I saw him walking/working out I recognized the face, but couldn't place where I had seen him before, I thought maybe I had dated him before or something. I introduced myself hand on hip, batting eyelashes, head cocked to one side, big pretty smile "Hey handsome, you look kinda familiar, have we met before?"

His response, all giggles and blushing "I don't know, maybe you mighta seen me on TV"

I got all nervous and flustered and convinced myself in ten seconds that I couldn't ask him out. (I'm kinda shy when I like a guy)

So I got his autograph instead.
His response (Total change of tone, no more happy smiley face...he made me wait until he finished his workout before he gave it to me) So I'm just hanging around the gym with all these guys for an hour. Talking to the boxing coach, about George Forman, Layla Ali, Joe Louis and his daughter...and Mark Henry and his expensive vehicle...a hummer.

I got his autograph for my son...what I shoulda got was the phone number, dinner and something else! But my dumb butt let him get away.

I also backed into Billy Idol and had a long conversation about stilletos with one of his dancers outside of some theatre I forget the name of in Jacksonville Florida (These things only happen to me!)

I also network with several actors, musicians, authors, editors and publishers.

Oh okay, I never mentioned that I am a writer and an extremely part time actress, my kids are actors too.

My first job ever at age 16 was a delivery boy at Thomas Pharmacy on 67th St. on Columbus Ave in NYC.

When she was intown I used to make weekly deliveries of meds to Madonna who lived 4 blocks away bet Columbus and Central Park West. She lived on the 5th floor and owned all the apartments on that floor. At first her security guy or her assistant would greet me at the door and take the packages, but one day to my astonishment she opened the door. After that she would almost always answer the door herself. One day she invited me in to wait for her to find some money for my tip (she tipped well), she was smoking a doobie with 2 friends and they offered me some. Who am I to turn down happy smoke from a international superstar?

Anywho, that turned out to be my longest delivery, it took me over an hour til I got back.

Good times!

My family were Mets fans. Back in 1969 living in Jersey we went to many Mets games. If you remember, that year the NY Mets won the world series. They were called The Miracle Mets. In 1970 my dad took us to the Mets spring training camp in St. Petersburg, Florida. We had a Mets program with every players picture on it. We got every single player from the 69 Miracle Mets to sign over their face on the program. Every single one.

All but one. When my Dad asked Gil Hodges the manager, he gave us a barrage of language that we as young kids have never heard. What a nasty bastard he was. He did not sign it.

My brother has that autographed program in a safe place. It is probably very valuble. He says he never had it apraised but thinks the fact that Tom Seaver's signature is on there makes it extra valuable.
