That's putting it mildly. Woodson might as well be considered one of the greatest Temptations along with the originals.

In the movie, when Ruffin said "Without him...Tempts ain't nothin but a group in search of a David Ruffin...", they were referring to Woodson, because that's exactly what he was - a David Ruffin. And just like Ruffin with "My Girl", "Treat Her Like a Lady" saved the Tempts from obscurity. I remember the Jamie Foxx Show episode where he performed this song in that nut clinic.

What I want to know is, what is Otis taking that keeps him alive while his peers keep dying? McGilberry, Davis, Owens, Bryant, Paul Williams, Kendricks, Ruffin, Franklin? Not that I wish him dead, just bizarre.

Maybe Otis doesn't smoke or use drugs. I don't know much about all the other members but Ruffin had drug problems and Kendricks smoked a lot(lung cancer). So maybe Otis has avoided those things.

Disregarding the reasons they died, I'm just saying that it's bizarre that he's lived through so many of his colleagues dying around him. What a mind job.
