She was also hilarious in "Sordid Lives: The Series" (2008) I saw her in Dallas at the Majestic Theater last fall - she sat in a chair the whole time but she was funny and friendly.
I've not heard of that movie, Lakewooder, but it's so crazy she is gone! She was still holding her own as of recently with movies and what not--up until this year, right? I didn't even know she had a stroke back in March.

I also loved,loved Rue on " Mama's Family" as Fran.
Funny that Betty White was on that show too as Fran's (Rue's) neice.
Watched a rerun last night on TV. Was it pure coincidence (or a cruel joke) that it was titled "Heart Attack"?
