Last month I had some emails (?) show up in my iPhone 3GS. There were about 10 that had NO sender and NO message with the date of 12/09 on the side, and they are undeletable! You hit Edit and there is no circle by them to check to delete... Everything else can be deleted. They have never shown up on my computer in that email, they are ONLY on the iPhone.. Anyone else ever have this happen and if you did, how did you get rid of them..
Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > Email Account > Advanced > Deleted Mailbox
Then tap on Trash – even though you may already have a check mark beside it. This should allow you to start deleting emails.
I keep getting that sound alerting me I have new mail and check, there's nothing there.... so I scrolled down and there are 18 of those "no sender" things now!.
I go into that account through Bling and they are not showing up in there either (or on home PC).
skel1977- What exaclty will I be deleting doing that? ALL emails? That account? Or will I be able to just select the ones to delete?
skel1977- Thanks for that link, that was a big help... I kept reading what everyone had to say and someone said the just shut the phone off, then cut it on and ther were gone so I tried that and they were gone.. They could, however come back but now I have that link and all kind of suggestions on what to try.. and I HAD just updated the phone before this started.. Apple needs to get a fix for this.
