I will be going to Australia next month and would rather use the camera on my Droid than my regular digital camera. However, the user book with my camera says not to use the converter on the camera because it might cause it to malfunction. I am wondering if the same is true for the phone, but have been unable to find out for sure(even ask at the Verizon store). Has anyone had any experience with this?
If I understand your question correctly, I cant see how using the camera on the droid in Australia would cause it to malfunction. Or did am I not understanding your question?

You did misunderstand.......sorry I didn't word it more clearly. Taking pictures with the digital camera is not what might cause it to malfunction. It's using the converter to recharge it that might cause it to malfunction. I was wondering if using the converter on the phone would also be a risk.
