My HTC Incredible just started doing that. It's annoying as hell trying to answer the phone. Other people are complaining on the HTC forums but I haven't seen an answer yet.

I just do the first two steps and my phone is good for a solid hard days use, or two days of moderate use.

My Evo is headed into the Sprint folks in the morning.
I cannot get it to respond, give me the home page, etc, dependably.

I have dumped apps, reset to factory settings, and it still shows me the Notification screen almost every time I try to do something.
I'll take a refurb over what I have now.

Just back from Sprint.

They replaced my touch screen and tweaked some settings.

Somehow, when I did a factory reset, it imported a list of Facebook friends to my phone call list.
And on the way to the Sprint Store this morning, it robocalled some lady a few times, before I pulled the battery.

I saw a few Evo's come through the place while I waited...
It ain't a bulletproof phone, apparently.
