I purchased this product from Amazon about two months ago. It seems like every other time I sync something doesn't go right and I have to restore. I had my laptop checked and cookies removed - no viruses. I was able to restore and use my iPod for a few days until I sycned and now can not get it to restore.

Does anyone have any idea about what I should do to correct this problem?

Is it possible the iPod is flawed? or is it something I am doing wrong?

My thoughts exactly. Many people I know and myself included have had syncing problems with ipods. I'm not so sure it is necessarily the ipod itself as much as it is itunes that apple tries to force you to use. Itunes is just an aggravating, bloated pile of crap. In the past we have had to attempt to restore them a few times, then connect them to a wall charger and then reconnect to the computer and then it would restore and start all over. At times we have had to swap between a couple of computers and finally restore and start over. I'm just glad the ipod craze is passing and most of the people I know that used to come to me with their ipod issues have gotten android phones and stopped using ipods.

The OP didn't ask for anecdotal or opinionated responses.

Artmomma, has the iPod been updated? Has iTunes been updated? What error does it give you? What exactly goes wrong? Have you tried starting fresh (uninstalling iTunes, restore the iPod to a factory install with nothing on it)?
