Hmmmmm, if I'm understanding the dating of this article and the one up thread, that first one (Pogue's) was written some 6 months after the PC World piece. Am I missing something here?

Seeing that Pogue's article was written less than a month ago, I'd think it to be more current.

Anyway, I'm bookmarking this stuff in anticipation of the time when I get a new iPod or get the iPhone.

There is something like that offered by Apple, but I have no idea how it can work on the iPod Touch (unless the latest generation iPod has a built-in camera):

P.S. Yes, I just found out that the newest iPod Touch does come with a camera and the "Facetime" app.
