I have an iPhone 3G, and for the most part it's a great phone... and while it sometimes annoys me, I do have the "auto-correct" turned on, since it's nearly impossible to write a text/email without it. But lately my iPhone has adopted a new correction, which it can't seem to drop!! And it's an incredibly annoying one, considering the common word it "fixes."

So ONE time I sent my brother a text, with a picture of our nephew wearing an Oakland A's baseball cap - and the text said something like "What a cute little A's fan!" Ever since that message, my phone corrects the word as to read A's. OMG, really?? Is there any way to fix this one correction, without completely turning off auto-correct? Or does it eventually stop trying to fix certain words? Please help, before I throw my phone out the window... LOL.

You have to reset the whole thing:
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Keyboard Dictionary.

After quick Google, try this:
Delete autocorrect entry from iPhone dictionary

I personally love the auto-correction on my iPhone. But I have an iPhone 4, so I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

Yes, but it makes for some hilarious auto corrects. Have you ever seen the auto correct website?

I didn't believe some of them were possible, until I got an iPhone. Where it comes up with some of the corrections is beyond me - but makes for some funny stuff.
