Samsung mobile president Shin Jong-Kyun said recently said that Galaxy S II is coming to Sprint in August, and like Galaxy S, it will be available for AT&T and Verizon as well, very good news.

I have been expecting it for a long time, it's said Galaxy S II sold 3 million units 55 days after its availability.

I think it's one of the most powerful Smartphone ever, what do you guys think? I would prefer it over HTC Android phone.

You can say that again, but I am just wondering why no Android Smartphone could even matches iPhone's sales.

It's said the sales has already reached 5 million in 85 days, may break the record set by its predecessor Galaxy S.

Samsung also surpassed Nokia and Apple as the biggest Smartphone maker, it's the first time Apple has some real competition from Android?

Couple of reasons....

First, it's because there is only ONE "Apple" phone. There are dozens, if not more, android phones. No single android phone will likely ever eclipse iPhone sales, simply because the market share is divided among those dozens of devices.

Second, Apple is great at marketing. That doesn't mean that their product is better, of course, but they're great at building brand loyalty and getting people to get all giddy over the newest Apple gadget, long before it's even on the shelves.

Apple also markets their phones directly, while the other manufacturers let the service providers do the heavy lifting when it comes to advertising.
