Wait til you see them in person. I think the RAZR is going to be way sexier then the "big ass" Bionic.

Some ppl like big asses. I hope the Razr does turn out to be a wonderful thin phone so that I will be more inclined to purchase it.

The initial reviews are indicating battery life is good which is a first for an LTE phone. Battery life (or lack thereof) was the main reason to skip LTE phones up to this point. I can't say the RAZR excites me but I'm looking forward to the future of LTE phones now that they seem to have the battery life sorted.

If you want a self-replaceable battery you usually have to increase size. A phone like the Razr is all about being thin so it has to have a built in battery. Technology is full of tradeoffs. There’s no such thing as the perfect design.

Motorola's website says this thing is 650 bucks? Yeah that would be another deal breaker. I mean, 50 more bucks and you could get a iPhone AND an iPad.

Does Verizon discount it with a 2 year contract?

The iPhone 4s starts at $650, so I don't know how you'll get an iPad for $50 more than that...

That price must be without the two-year contract which would be about right then.

The iPhone 4S with a two-year contract starts at $200 and the iPad starts at $500.

I do like how this phone is made out of Kevlar though. That should make it one of the most durable phones out there!

I know quite a few people that have bought the larger batteries for their Android phones. Not being able to swap the battery if I wish to do so is a deal breaker for me as well and is one of the reasons I would never buy an iPhone.

On another note, I never ever buy a phone when it first comes out for a couple of reasons. One is I want to see what bugs crop up in the first six months and give them time to work them out with software updates or if it is a hardware issue, I know not to buy it. Another reason is, I don't pay the bloated introductory prices; I can wait 6 months and get it for $50 to $100 instead of $200 to $300.

I prefer having something I can wrap my hand around, even if it adds size and weight. I have a Bionic, and have no problems with it, even if is one of the largest smartphones out there. The big screen is worth the extra size, IMO.

I had to buy and extended battery for my Bionic. It was going dead some days, even after I backed off on some of the battery-hogging tasks, such as checking email/tweets frequently. I personally think the ability to swap out batteries is a pretty big deal.
