Gotta hand it to Sprint for taking the number 2 spot coming from worst just a couple years ago. Quick turn around. And, AT&T, yea, I got nothing for you.
I switched from AT&T to Verizon 2 years ago. That was when their calls were dropping like crazy. The customer service was horrible and they blamed everything on the Apple. Verizon is much better. I have never had problems with Verizon and the customer service is excellent so far.
I'm a little surprised, because, IIRC, AT&T's score has actually fallen from last year.
I believe so. That puts AT&T in the unfortunate position of either admitting that they're actually getting worse, or continuing their tradition of attacking their customers by accusing the results of being conspiratorial.
They suck. I was with them for awhile some years back and they constantly crammed my bill. It was never the same 2 months in a row. They charged me for crap I never ordered like "Jamster". I left them for Sprint which was even worse- then. Now we are with Metro and I am happy. The bill is exactly what they said it would be and the service is unlimited- no overages that AT&T loves to hit you with.
Even worse than MetroPCS? Or would that be an unfair comparision?
Metro PCS is good. At least here in the valley. The bill is exactly the same every month, no BS and it works everywhere I have went (here, L.A. and Kansas City in the past year).

I've found that usually it's the small regional carriers that have the best customer service. Many, many years ago, I worked PCS One, for a regional GSM carrier here in PA. Our coverage was what you'd expect from a late-90s GSM provider but the customer service was outstanding. Problem with your phone that happens to be six months out of warranty? No sweat, here's another.
AT&T is the Dish Network of cell phones. I'll never go back to either one of them again. Horrible customer service.
Dish Network has more bandwidth than all of the 4 major cell providers combined. When they (finally) launch their cell phone service, they could have the fastest connections speeds by quite a margin.
