I've had all three with the iPhone.

Sprint's data is slow as molasses and reception is not as good as Verizon, but they have cheaper plans and unlimited data.
AT&T- customer service is not the best and many dropped calls
Verizon- has the best coverage and fastest internet but more expensive plans.

I prefer Verizon because I've used all three carriers in multiple locations and I'm super annoyed with Sprint because the data is so slow and reception isn't the best. I switched from Verizon to Sprint recently to save money but I guess you get what you pay for when it comes to tech.

ATT is horrible around the Hudson River Valley (NYC to Albany), Orange County, CA and the San Francisco area.

I've had sprint for over 12 years now. Initially it was horrible, but since 2006, Sprint has provided the best coverage for me, with very few dead areas. On drives across the country, I would coverage while my friend on VZN would be out.
My contract expires this month. I'm waiting for the new iPhone and will probably stay with Sprint.

By this time next year, Sprint's network will have passed AT&T's and will be on par with Verizon's.

Watch.

Just educate yourself on the present and the future and don't worry about the past.

There is no indication of Sprint being on par with Verizon or surpassing AT&T by this time next year. I'll go a step further and say there's less than 1% chance of Sprint catching up to Verizon by then.

I am hearing so much about bad service, dropped calls etc. and with that said I just can not figure out which is the best both financially and service wise.

Would certainly appreciate any help and input people can offer.

Thanks for everyones help!

I think I am heading for Verizon.

Thanks everyone.
