I'm interested in the Nexus 4. I don't need right this minute, but I do want one relatively soon. Will they actually be available? If they'll never be available again is it worth it on eBay or Craigslist, or will a similar phone be available (with no bloatware) within 2 months?

I'd like an unlocked device as I'm currently not on any contract.

Google just apologized for the delay and swear more are coming. I HOPE it won't be too long. Might get the wife one, too.

What pathetic supply chain management. I currently don't have a smartphone so am able to wait for this thing to become available, but I wonder how many sales Google lost forever because of this delay. There are millions of people who will have started new contracts or that have bought phones as gifts the past few weeks.

Google has been having some issues as of late. The Nexus 7 has been sold out on the Play store for the last couple of weeks. I was trying to buy a 16 GB Nexus 7, but their site has had sold out for a little while now. Settled in a 32 GB Nexus 7 and even that is going to take 1-2 weeks just to ship.

I think they underestimated the demand for their Nexus products.

The Nexus 4 is not being sold through normal retail channels. Only T Mobile in the States will be offering it. Google had a bad experience with Verizon for the Galaxy Nexus, so I don't think we'll be seeing a mainstream Nexus phone on carriers for a while.

Just check the T Mobile website and they're out of stoock.

I'd rather have the Nexus 7, along with a prepaid 4G service (like Virgin or Clear). You can use Google Voice to make calls.

Sure, it's a little big, but I currently carry a Nook Color along with my cell phone.
