I like the idea of basically having a smaller more portable cellular tablet for mobile internet that can make phone calls. So the Note really excited me but I haven't jumped because of plans blah blah.

Now I see the LG Intuition is out and have a question. I once read something about though the Note has a great screen etc. something about the size and shape vs.....something...might make certain details on the screen not quite as sharp. Which game me slight pause because one of the main things I would use these for is to download bird field guides to take into the field to help with identification. Now the Intiuition is out and its screen is very differently shaped, its more square and I don't know that much about XXX x XXX pixals vs. how that works with the type screen (AMOLed vs. LCD) vs. the shape of the screen vs. apps that were probably written for a more standard smartphone screen size.

Anyone really know there stuff on that sort of thing?

Galaxy 5.5 super AMOLED - 1280 x 720 - 151.1 x 80.5 x 9.4 (mm)
Intuition - 5 HD-IPS LCD -1024 x 768 - 139.7 x 90.4 x 8.4 (mm)

The Intuition has other drawbacks like dual vs. quad core, no removable battery or sd card slot but its also less expensive and as i won't be using it that much I;m more likely to buy outright and get a pre-paid plan of some kind so I always keep a look out and consider everything

Thanks for any help

Buy Galaxy 3 if you can afford. If you can not, go with Galaxy Note 2 LTE.
If you have smaller hands, don't buy Note. It's big phone.

Btw, the word is "phablet". Phone Tablet.
