There was no option to select "Download music". I think that Android is like the new Napster. I use my Samsung Galaxy SII to download some good music. It is incredible how many music apps that are downloaded in America, Check this link:

The "MP3 Music Download" app was downloaded 3,680,000 times in USA just in one month (January 2013). That is about 1,2% of the entire American population in just one month... It was downloaded 6,230,000 times all over the world in just January 2013.

Perhaps it is due to a limitation in choices, I find it interesting based on the poll so far it seems as if most smart phone users really do not need a smart phone, myself included.

Makes reviewing & deleting emails so easy.
Don't have to dedicate 2 hrs @ computer.

Surfing for phone # when you can't find a business & calling.

Lots of things. And, w/good ear buds can talk hands free.

Alarm clock and texting (I hate talking on the phone).
Those are the two main things I use my phone for.
In close second is taking pictures.

Everything else is whatever.

Most used function on my phone: Google Calendar! Love it tons (did I say this already earlier in this thread? i can't remember. and why isnt 'calendar' a choice in the voting menu? it should be)

Major pain to not have Google Calendar handy. To my understanding, all Android phones sync with Google Calendar - a big reason why I'm team Android.

Ya but...

Like cross trainer shoes which aren't good for any one thing (you wouldn't run in them and you wouldn't play basketball in them...), smart phones are still cell phones which don't sound as good as a land line, they hardly serve as a PC with a small screen and a non existent keyboard, and the camera quality is nothing compared to a cheap SLR.

I find it ten times easier to type using a normal keyboard and a computer screen. I don't understand how anyone uses a smart phone for text intensive tasks. Even the speak to text is a hassle.

There was ashort adjustment period getting used to the different keyboard style. Once I got used to predictive text that helped a lot. If I learn to swipe it will get even easier. My camera is better or at least equal to most point and shoots, and I can do a pretty good panoramic shot. Any slr is going to cost nearly as much as my phone did for about 1% of the function, and there is no way I'm going to start carting around a camera everywhere I go.

Honestly doing forums is not that text-intensive. It's about 90% reading and 10% typing, and that's being generous. I can do bold or italics or whatever, post links, pictures, anything else you can do on a full computer. It's more like a small tablet than just a phone.

I haven't had a landline since about 03 and have no interest in having one ever again.

ETA: posted from my android device.
