Texting, phone calls, emails, checking news and weather, web searches and GPS, listening to downloaded music and sometimes the radio.
In, roughly, that order.

One thing that isn't listed that comes in handy is a level. I replaced mt mailbox this past weekend and it came in real handy. I've also used it to build furniture.

A few functions I use that are not listed: alarm clock, stopwatch, cooking timer, shopping list, news aggregator, dating apps like Grindr (which I don’t consider social media), restaurant recommendations, and travel (including train schedules and flight tracking).

Payin' for stuff, alarm clock, notepad, mileage tracking, scanner/fax machine, process credit card payments, video chat (hangouts, Skype). Probably missed a few, but that's what I can think of for now.

I use it for many of the things listed above, plus some not posed but mentioned below. Also calendar and personal "task manager".

Yes -- Calendar!!

Also missing: WiFi Hotspot. I don't have internet service at home, so my laptop uses my phone's connection.

My main one is basically my replacement for a phone, laptop, point and shoot camera, etc.

One of my old ones is used for OBD-II bluetooth data for cars/trucks

Another old one of mine is used as a live security camera that I can view from work or my main phone
