It depends upon what apps you are running. For instance, I had a Google Maps app that was eating up my battery life like crazy. It was using over 70% of the battery. I turned it off and my battery life greatly increased.

I don't have to charge my battery everyday, but I did purchase a Mophie case that charges the battery on the fly, so I don't have to plug it in each day or night. Works great! Love my S3!
