Just saw the CVS circular and was thinking about buying this phone that's on sale for $39.99 but not sure if it is a good choice.

I am looking for something that is not a contract phone that I can use for calls, texting and email. But I need something that isn't going to cost over $100 and is prepay by choice to keep it down to $50 monthly.

All input is appreciated, thank you in advance.

Can you confirm which make/model phone you saw. Hard to answer your question without that information.

Consumer Cellular is a no contract/pay as you go. They consistently have one of the highest consumer satisfaction ratings. I've been with them for 9 years and am completely satisfied.

My monthly bill is seldom more than $30-$40 and that's including my having an iPhone for the last five months

They offer a variety of phones; go check 'em out! No, I don't work for them. Yes, I do think they're great.

I know what you mean! Consumer Cellular uses AT&T network as far as coverage area goes, but it's a totally separate company, so one deals only with CC's customer service, which is absolutely great.
