A friend of mine has a Cricket Flip phone, problem she's having is that her screensaver just gone out.

She said the screensaver went out last night, came back up for a little while this evening & went back out again.

It's showing a white screen sometimes a polka dot screen.

Anyone know how to get the screensaver back?

You mean her screen? Sounds like it's time for a new phone.

Phones generally don't have screen savers, if you mean the screen as mention above it sounds like it's on it's way out.

Try shutting the phone off, and removing the battery for 30 seconds?
If that doesn't work than as others said, start shopping for a new phone.

Funny I do see a screensaver process on my Symbian phone although it appears to do nothing. I think the OP meant the lock screen went white. On Android you can see the lock screen a few seconds before it turns black.

I have found that Flip phones break easily if someone flips them open hard since there are tiny wires in the hinge. As others have already written, if taking out the battery for a over a minute and then putting it back in does not fix it, then it is time for a new phone.
