I keep mine locked in a fireproof/waterproof safe. It's difficult carrying the safe everywhere I go.

case and screen protector. I like the feeling that if I drop it on the floor or the sidewalk that there a good chance it will not have a mark on it at all. Resale value on a banged up iPhone is lower.

I have one of those $10 gel cases they sell at the checkout counter at Walgreens. But so far I have no scratches or damage on my phone. I am not worried about resale value since I have an iPhone 4, it will probably be worth $.99 by next year; phone companies are already offering the 5 at deep discounts which tells me the next one is possibly on its way in.

Does anyone use Otterbox? If so has any negative experiences using it? (I plan on getting one when I upgrade my phone in a few months).

Otterboxes are for dorks who love bulky stuff and wearing their cellphone on a holster.

Some co-workers use the Otterbox. Basically it is for people who drop their phones a lot. Seems like it doubles the volume of your phone.

I use a speck candyshell case and screen protector. Phone fits nicely in my front pants pocket.
