Although I'm not a camera enthusiast, I'm not sure why having a camera phone which serves primarily as a camera is a bad idea.

Can't see them selling those in huge volumes, but definitely see a niche market.

Hey futbol! Yeah I saw this one too. Samsung at this point can afford to be gimmicky for the sake of it, regardless without regard to expecting high volume of sales.

I do agree that will be a niche market for a device like that. Sony sort of tried that with their Cybershot phones, but sadly the idea came out before the Android/Smartphone explosion hit.

Really curious how well it performs as a phone? or camera? transformer?

Yeah, I think Samsung could pull it off. It is a bold move for them nevertheless.

Those smart phones have an amazing amount of image post-processing features, too.

I cant confirm or deny I have been using it. But if I have, its safe to say it is hands down gonna blow the doors off anything on the market including many pocket cameras. Going to change mobile imaging.

41MP camera officially confirmed for the Nokia EOS - GSMArena.com news
I have the older model - Nokia N8 and must admit that the pictures are VERY good quality. Comparison was made between N8 and Nokia 808 41MP and there was no major difference in picture quality.
Not sure about the Nokia EOS and how different it will be.

The camera on the Nokia's are amazing. If you prefer carrying just one device - I would go for a Nokia.
