Favoriite Verizon Smartphone? (Motorola, iPhone, disable, update)

I've gone to online review sites. Does anyone have a Verizon Smartphone
they really like? Droid Razr/Samsung galaxy SIII/ Samsung Nexus?
I would like to see what work well here. Not big into movies,
just want something good for internet, email, and phone
with decent battery life. Thanks for your experience.

I have the Droid Razr M and have been really happy with it. If you use the internet a lot, the batter will be used up by the end of the day, but with automatic updates, GPS and other apps running all the time they are all that way. I have 4 e-mail accounts on it and use it all day. I'm still on an unlimited data plan but rarely use more than 1-2 GB because there is so much wi-fi available now.

Decent battery life -> Droid RAZR HD Maxx

With light usage, mine can last a few days between charges. When just browsing, it'll last all day easily. Battery life has always been a sore spot for Android (well, that and ridiculously buggy software and laggy OS). Motorola addressed this not by addressing any of the issues that make battery life terrible, but by simply shoving a larger battery into the phone. Disable any apps you don't use that come pre-installed (Slacker, Amazon MP3, etc will start services and use up resources even if you're not using them).

Motorola is basically shipping stock Android these days, with an added widget (terrible - a resource hog that randomly stops working) and a quick settings screen (neat, but you can get a widget to do the same thing if you want to use another launcher).

I have the LG Spectrum 2 and happy with it, plus it's FREE! I like free.

I am not on Verizon but I just got the Samsung Galaxy III last weekend. I like it so far but still learning new things it can do. My daughter and SIL have Verizon and she got the Samsung Galaxy III and he got the Note. They both loved their phones.

I would suggest going to the store and playing with them for a while to see which one you like the best.

RAZR MAXX HD for best battery life.
Droid Incredible 4G if you prefer a smaller phone.
Droid DNA or iPhone5 if you want the best camera and don't mind not having expandable memory.

If you want a phone that is small and has excellent battery life, consider the RAZR M.

I like my iPhone 5. It is the first smart phone that doesn't mock my intelligence. If I were to use a droid again I'd go with the motorola RAZR M.

If you don't need it right away, a Verizon version of the HTC One (no X, no S, just "One") should be out in a couple of months.

If you can't wait, I'd suggest the HTC Droid DNA, the Apple iPhone 5 (if you like Apple), the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx HD, the Samsung Note 2, or the Samsung Galaxy S3. (Personally, I'm not impressed with Samsung's hardware, but lots of people like them. Maybe I'm just missing the awesome because I'm not quite cool enough.)
