I have a medical examiner I work with that's trying to use and iPhone or iPad to do his job from out in the field and keep things electronic. Right now he has a printout of a body he draws markings on and sections for text notes. I'm hoping to find an app that would allow for something similar (spots for text notes and the ability to draw markings on a body). I'd prefer the final document be saved in a pdf format so that it can easily be used later once synced up with a PC. Does anyone know of such an app or some way to allow my coworker to use his iOS device (or android I suppose)?

Have you checked the app store with multiple search phrases. The has to be "an app for that".

Yes. I have a good friend that is in the medical field and swears by this one.

Netters Atlas of Human Anatomy iPad app is a powerful anatomical reference

If not you should design one a make a lot of money. You could also combine photos, voice description, GPS, etc.
