This is a thread about Verizon. I see nothing on their page that says anything about regional coverage or national roaming. There are slight differences in coverage.

There is one major difference that I didn't notice until checking out the FAQ. NO 4G! So someone would have to be OK with a 3G experience. Wouldn't be able to take my RAZR MAXX to pre-pay.

They do allow bring your own phone as long as it isn't 4G.

GCharlotte,

I read just fine and I am aware of the fact the thread is about Verizon. Thanks for the news flash.

I have Verizon and still have the old America's Choice plan that isn't offered any more. I don't have a smart phone and don't want one...and I don't text either. I just want a plain old phone and could care less about apps and gizmos that seem to mesmerize most people these days almost like a drug.

Well that's cool but Maps, RSS Reader and E-mail mobile are my drugs then. But I've been having e-mail sent to my old Nextel phone too. Feature phone versus Smartphone I suppose.
