I use Android 2.3.7. When I'm loading a longer page (like Wikipedia), and I scroll down, it will finish loading and suddenly jerk back to the top of the page. This is annoying and I've only noticed it in the past few weeks. Do all smartphones do this?

It should finish loading but it shouldn't suddenly move back to the top of the page.

I know you can stop it from loading but that's not really a solution.

That sounds like a poorly programmed app or a poorly designed web page.

Not all smartphones do it, but the stock browser for Android certainly does for wikipedia

Wikipedia has always been known to have compatibility issues with mobile browsers due to format on their end. Its not your phones fault necessarily.

More modern webpages are pulling data from various sources and are coded a little differently than the old static webpages.

Try another browser you can download from Google Play like Opera.
