I have a Samung droid cell phone that had mp3 files deleted from a folder. I was told gmail backs up contacts, calendar, ringtones and media (photos/music) files. How do I restore my mp3 from the gmail server to my phone? I was told verizon only backs up contacts and gmail backs up everything? Any ideas before I go transfer endless mp3 files from my computer back to cell phone?

Forget to add this deletion was done with a music database software while my phone was hooked up to my computer. I checked the windows trash folder and nothing there.

It does not back up everything, The Back up my data setting generally just saves your phones state, wifi settings, list of installed apps, some account settings, you don't have direct access to these backups. It does not back up photos, MMS/SMS, or audio files AFAIK.
