Comparing coverage between At&t and Sprint is like comparing apples to oranges. Completely different networks and coverage is rarely equal in any specific area. All comes down to what works best for you where you frequently travel.

To some degree. But, ATT cleans Sprint's clock around here. And when I am surfing the internet, the sites all look the same. One service just loads faster than the other.

I don't have specific download speeds, but I can tell you AT&T loads webpages on my phone about 5x faster than Sprint did. Sprint always said 4G on my phone, but it would take forever to load something. AT&T says 4G on my phone, and I actually believe it.

Do you actually get a Sprint 4G connection in TN? Unless you're in Nashville, I wouldn't expect much coverage from any provider other than Verizon.

Sprint claimed they would have 4G LTE in Memphis by the end of 2012. They ran commercials, and they started updating their towers. Several months after 2013 started, there were spotty 4G spots around the Wolfchase Mall near I-40 and downtown by the airport. I never saw 4G around Germantown, East Memphis, or Collierville where a ton of people live. I kept bringing it to Sprint's attention, and they kept saying it wasn't a promise, just that they were working on it.
Towards the end of 2013, my phone would say 4G LTE, but it would LITERALLY take 5 minutes to open Facebook.com. My phone was so slow, some webpages would fail to load. I couldn't take it. That's when I talked Sprint into dropping my contract without fees and I swapped to AT&T. I haven't regretted it one day. I'm sure Sprint is great in a few cities, but they are the bottom of the barrel around here. It never worked well anywhere I went.
I think the "4G" I'm getting with AT&T is real 4G. It's pretty fast.

Actually, after two months now, I am enjoying the heck out of AT&T.
Never looked back on Sprint with fond regrets.

I've been with AT&T for several months now, and I haven't missed Sprint one day. Sprint is terrible, just like their new "Framily" commercials.

after 48 hours with dealing with sprint I went back to Verizon and have been enjoying the heck out of them and there 4G lte speeds and I can roam around the country and not be baby sat and get nasty letters about using my data roaming to much and or voice roaming WTF and they only offered my 3 lines with a 150 spending limit wich I knew nothing about seems like sprint puts everyone on that spending limit crap after all it's another 7.99 a month for em. I told sprint to go **** themselves when Verizon gave me ten lines and the ablity to charge stuff to my account. oh and I don't miss going around corners and having the phone going into 3G mode earthier. I think every one should boycott sprint and pay there ETF and run like hell. another thing with sprint is there coverage map it's not just the sprint network like it should be but it's roaming areas also false advertising. though I did enjoy sprints spark service and there ultra fast download speeds but it's not worth it to stick around with em
