I have an HTC Rezound. 2 years old. Battery drains pretty fast with regular internet use, such as just browsing City-Data or Facebook. 30 minutes, and the battery will go down 30%. Doesn't matter if I am 10 ft.from my wifi, or using 3g signal.
Don't remember it being this bad. Any suggestions??
Just having the screen on drains a lot of battery, browsing the web compounds the issue. A two year old cellphone battery has had many charge cycles, so it could definitely be time for a new one.
It's a good idea to always have a backup, one battery simply isn't enough. With two batteries, they age more slowly as you have much less charge cycles on either one.
Pull up your phone's Settings menu, and find the systems-app that lets you tell where the juice went.
For my Android phone, it shows what percentage of battery use went to what app.
But without knowing any details, I concur with the other posters. After 2 years, your battery is probably not holding a charge well and should be replaced.
