I believe the Fire Phone also has it's share of bloatware. About the only option you have for a bloatware free device is the Nexus line Nexus - Google

LOL, You and I posted last about the same time so I'll ask again~what about KitKat... that lets you 'turn off' the bloatware without having to uninstall it? I saw this in another thread.

I believe you're correct, but I've never had to test that theory with a phone with included bloatware as all my devices are Nexus.

Can easily be turned off on Galaxy S6. No rooting necessary. Bring up the list of your apps by pressing apps icon (not settings-app manager). Find the Verizon app. It's a square with other tiny icons inside it. Tap to open it. Tap VZ Protect, then Security, then the gray sprockets in the upper right area, scroll down to other settings, tap Site Advisor to off position. Now take a deep breathe and smile. -Dr. Eli English
