iPhone apps stopped working (itunes, update, safari, comcast) - Cell Phones and Smartphones - - City-Data Forum

I need some help. My Facebook and Comcast apps stopped working. I tried rebooting the phone and deleting and reinstalling those two apps. Nothing.

Any suggestions? I can access Facebook and Comcast just fine thru Safari.

Weren't those just updated? Maybe the update screwed them up.

That was my thought, but they work fine on my wife's 4S. I have the 5

By stopped working do you mean when you tap on the icon it doesn't open or does it try to open and then close immediately? Or can you just not log in?

Sorta starts, then nothing happens for a half a minute then the app closes.

Complete a backup in itunes and then restore the phone to factory settings. Set up the phone as new first (very important) then restore from iTunes backup.
