I had an iPhone 4S through AT&T. the phone is destroyed, but I do have the sim card. I'd like to pull the music off of that sim card so that I can use it on my new iPhone 4S (though Boost). The music was never synced on my pc with iTunes, so the simple option unfortunately, is not an option because the music isn't in iTunes.

I called Boost to see if I could simply take out the Boost Sim card and insert the AT&T and then sinc it through iTunes on my PC, then reinsert the Boost sim and sync itunes on the PC to the Boost sim. They said no, that it would not read it.

Is there anyway that I can retrieve the music from my AT&T sim card? Some reader I can buy maybe or any other suggestions? I have a lot of music that I would hate to lose.

Thank you.

SIM cards do not carry information like music or videos or photos. All of your songs were on the phone, sorry to say. If the phone was the only place that these songs exist, then you've lost them. If you have them synced somewhere else and can get them by some means, then you can move them onto the new phone, but the method in which you do this depends on what phone you get. If it is not another iPhone, you will not be able to use iTunes.

iPhones do not have external storage, so it's unlikely you're confusing a SIM card with a micro SD card in this instance.

Oh that stinks. I did think that the files were on the card. That phone is in pieces so I guess I've lost the music and will have to start over. Lesson learned for sure. Thank you for your reply, I do appreciate it very much.
