I guess I have too much curiosity about them and the messages are hurtful.

I use a free application called "Who are You" along with "YouMail" and when I block a caller, they cannot call or send me a SMS. Never had a problem with those applications blocking an unwanted contact/caller.

Some apps, for promotional purposes, offer you a day when you can obtain the app for free instead of for the normal price.

Question Samsung Galaxy 5

I also have Samsung Galaxy 5 and even though I put numbers in the reject list, the phone still rings as well as lets them leave voice mails. What is the use of having the reject list?

Not sure ... My wife and I both have the S5, and don't ever see rejected callers.

Despite the holes in the system, it's nice not to stop what you are doing (stepping out of a meetings or away from the dinner table) every time some guys wants to sell you some generic Viagra. In my experience, telemarketers very seldom leave voice mail messages. If they don't leave a message, you are likely to call back. If they do leave a message, you will not call back, since you know it's a telemarketer.

Old thread, but just want leave some useful info. Mr. Number is a free app that blocks calls and texts. The only thing you get is Mr. Number letting you know a call/text was blocked from them. I had a couple of stalkers and let me tell you this app works wonders. They can't leave texts or voice mails.

When somebody calls me from the reject list they don't get an option to leave a vmail. The text do go into a spam folder however.

In my galaxy phone, i can place a call on reject and delete the number and previous messages. However, when I go to compose a msg and touch the plus sign my contact list drops down, then I tough the contact list and on the top banner it says recent. I see the number listed on recent and can not delete it from there.
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DELETE A NUMBER FROM THE RECENT LIST?????
