AKA people are mindless sheep who think any company that's not Apple isn't worth looking into. It's pathetic when you see people lauding Apple for an invention they didn't create, acting like it's the only option.

Well given that there are more Android phones out there that have had this technology for years you (Android users) only have yourselves to blame when it comes to pushing contactless payment systems.

No. Wireless pay technology was bound to happen anyway with the advancement of tech, and Google Wallet was introduced in 2010 as the first technology capable of doing so. This has to do with technological evolution, and Apple is way behind the curve with their outdated devices and technology.

They are leading the charge of people who don't know crap about technology and buy a 600 dollar phone without realizing it is inferior.

Android is leading the charge for intelligent people who do a bit of research before buying.

Fewer people own iPhone's than people who own Android by far. Fewer iPhone's exist that have NFC than do Android phones by a large margin. Your statement might work if those facts were the other way around. I don't personally know anyone that has used their NFC to make a mobile payment on their Android phone. Now why is that?

I know of at least 4 people with the new iPhone that have already taken part of the Apple Pay system and obviously the numbers speak. Apple doesn't have to do it first, they just have to do it best!

The only way the numbers say is that more people happen to be using Apple Pay. I mean Justin Bieber is popular, but does that make him good? No. So tell me, Apple Pay is popular, but does that make it good?

What's that?

No.

I'm sorry, weren't you the one who is so pissed off everytime Apple does something and everyone jumps on it? What a shame truly. Course we can go on to say that Android did it first, congratulations. Apple did pay systems better.
