Many people with crap on the Blu phones but they get good reviews if you check on Amazon. If I only wanted to spend $150 for a phone (no contract) I'd buy the Blu over a used S4.
Certainly leaning that way which is funny cause I didnt even know it existed and only found it by accident this morning. The only concern is whether it is too big to fit in my hand or pocket.
Really like the S4 also because it still gets rave reviews even tho its 2 year old technology and many feel its as good as the S5. Plus the seller is reputable and offers a 30 day warranty. Straight Talk is also selling it for $500 so $150 seems like a bargain.
Oh brother, the note was way too large for my taste. I don't understand how you people carry around those big things lol
The note is just big enough for me. It's not too bad but if it got bigger, it could be a problem. I've tested that out and the Note Edge as I get ready for my next phone in late April (not buying a phone second hand while my current phone is mostly good.) As I mentioned the Note Edge with the extra part is a bit clumsy as oppose to the traditional top bar and a bit bigger than the 4. I will say Samsung if you get the Galaxy's (S's and Notes) are good android phones. The only issue I notice from the S3 to S4 and S5 is that with the S3 when you hit the end on the home screen, it allows you to go back to first screen while the new models do not.
As for crap Androids, Droid 2 was terrible and was a "top of the line" Android phone. It was full of glitches, resets and needs to get sent for refurbishments.
I haven't used Apple to me, it's a little too expensive for my tastes while the Android in particularly Galaxy is very user friendly but what works for me may not work for the OP. If the OP likes Apple phones, you can get them under $200 through Swappa that are AT&T ready.
Looks like I have no choice but to go with Galaxy S4 afterall. It uses the same type of SIM as my iPhone while the Blu uses a different type.
Getting SIM cards moved/ swapped / changed has never been an issue for me. Should be able to log into the carriers site, or call them and transfer your number to a new SIM easily.

Check out Swappa. You should be able to find a used Galaxy S4 for under $200. I think that's your best option until you're eligible for upgrade and at that point you can upgrade to the latest iPhone.
My iPhone 4S is acting very strange like freezing (requires hard boot); shutting off with 19% charge remaining; and other annoying things so I need to replace it.
So what smart phone would be a good replacement? Would like to stay under $200 (used is fine) and needs to work on the AT&T Network. I mainly use it for surfing the web so a large sharp screen would be a plus.
Lumia 635. Yes it is Windows for $99, but check it out.
HD video recording at 720p
5 MP camera
8 MB ROM expandable to 128 GB via Micro SD
4.5 inch display
If you want a contract, you can get it on AT&T for free.
