Not sure if this was the reason but I had "Wifi Calling" checked and just disabled that and chose Mobile Networks.

Does that sound like why I constantly been having calls drop?

The most likely is service you have dropping the call. Try another phone on same service.

I think I found out what the problem was on Saturday Night. I had wifi-calling checked on my phone and after unchecking that i no longer have calls dropping while having a phone conversation.

Which phone do you have? There's many Samsung Galaxy's , is it a Note series phone or an S series, A series, etc....is it the original that came out way back in 2010, if so you probably need to upgrade.

And the box didn't have a name? You can use a benchmark app like antutu to find out what phone you have in case you're being serious (hard to tell when people are being sarcastic on message boards).

He shouldn't need an upgrade just to make a phone call.

If you go to SETTINGS > ABOUT PHONE it will tell you which phone you have on that screen.
