Little of both.
I setup all the work phones. Tell me Mr. Geek: wouldn't it be nice to have someone take your phone and return to you in 1 hour with all your pics, apps, settings even wallpapers all configured on your new phone?
Fun for me and part of my job. And my people appreciate it.

Not to mention this is how I learn and part of the reason why I consider myself an expert with mobile phones. And EVERYONE does it different. Motorola, depending on the phone uses either their own program or Google services to transfer settings. Samsung has their own app. LG has their own.
Apple has iTunes which takes FOREVER but works really well.

Transfer was really painless. Went well. The phone feels GREAT in the hand. Much better then the S5 it replaced. It's skinnier and thinner then the S5. Screen is beautiful. Takes PHENOMENAL pics.
A worthy upgrade for anyone with a 5 or earlier.

Off topic Peregrine what is the app to transfer everything from an S4 over to an iPhone. Got a link?

Back on topic, I'm sure their phones are nice, but Samsung needs to honor warranties before I will ever buy another one.

I think out of the box, they are better phones.
But I've had my S6 Active for less than six months and it's already getting broke-ass.

Meanwhile, my Motorola from 3 years ago is still chugging along great.

I've not actually done Android to iPhone. The two user's I had that did go from Android to iPhone wanted to start fresh with no apps or pics. Contacts and email are synched by my mail server so they get restored that way.

Apple released this...the reviews don't look so good though.

That app actually works really well. Android fanboys just vote it down because it's Apple. Very juvenile.

lol You're right. Fanbois and people trying to be funny rating it poorly.

I've had the Galaxy S7 for a week now and I couldn't be more impressed. Going from the S3 to S5 didn't seem like much of a change, but going from the S5 to the S7 is like trading in a Toyota for a Ferrari.

This phone is awesome. Fast and smooth as hell, and an incredible display. Samsung has a winner with this one.

I have already used it now no more interest in this brand. I want Android phone with some unique features. I want a phone with a dual screen and ear recognization unlocks feature. I think Samsung is not offering this features.

Wondering if you, or anyone, could provide more info on the G S7 experience. I'm contemplating coming over from iOS to android and the S7 looks good.
