Thats an urban legend - its NOT true in my case I hear crystal clear sound and others hear me great - plus Vonage has a bandwidth saver feature you can always adjust based on I believe how much bandwidth you want to allocate to your VOIP phone connection..the higher its set the better quality you get.

My phone service has jumped up to $40/month and I heard Vonage is about $25/month. I was wondering if I have to order one phone adaptor for each phone in the house. I have three phones.

We used Vonage for 2 1/2 years while living in Albuquerque. We never had a problem. Now that we work from home though, I need a fax and found that I save $$ with a traditional fax machine and landline over some service like efax, or we'd still use Vonage.
