How To Remove Photo Album from iPhone Synched from Old PC? (itunes, google)

I have an album on my iPhone that was synched years ago from an old PC, which I no longer have anymore.
I can't manually delete the album on my iPhone since it was synched from the PC, and yet on iTunes I can't delete the album because, well, it was from a different PC I no longer own.

Am I stuck with this album forever or is there anyway to get rid of it?

You should still be able to delete it. Whether it was synced or not. Is it that damn U2 album Apple gave away?

To delete synced photos and videos

• In iTunes, select the device icon in the Devices list on the left. Click the Photos tab in the resulting window.
• Choose "Sync photos from."
  • On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
  • On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.
• Choose "Selected albums" and deselect the albums or collections you want to delete.
• Click Apply.
