I've had T-Mobile for years, and my bill hasn't been that low for a long time. I looked at the information since I have a tablet that's not activated right now that would be a second line, but in order to get that rate, you have to be on auto-pay. And I don't have auto-pay for any of my bills.

For this new Senior Rate, you don't have to be on Auto Pay. The Auto Pay difference is only $10.00. When I called about the 55+, my rate for two lines went from $110.00 to $60.00. I am also paying for the new Galaxy S8 I got in April though. So my bill was $156.00 and will now be only $102.00.
As far as autopay with a credit card attached, it is a great option, I have many of my bills set up that way and one signin to whatever is autopay and I can change to regular pay or contact my credit card if the company should overcharge, yet that has never happened even once in all the years I have been doing it.
The T-Mobile deal is a great deal IMO but make sure your phone is compatible if you intend to bring it over to them, not all LTE phones have all the correct LTE frequencies and also T-Mobile phones have wifi calling built in, that is a great feature to use when at home or in areas with weak cell tower reception wherever their is a wifi connection available.
I'll stop in a store and ask about it, but I found this, where it says autopay. It would be nice to have it reduced, because I'm still paying off my S-7.
The new rate includes a discount for enrolling in its auto-pay function. Customers who don't want to sign up for auto-pay will shell out an $5 each month.
You don't have to have auto-pay to get the lower rate. I am a current Tmobile customer and have been going on ten years. The difference in price with the "All in" is only $5.00 per line.
However, my plan with Verizon is $30/mo with unlimited calls and texts. For my budget, I'll stay with this plan.
Verizon Prepaid still offers $30/mo with unlimited calls and texts using a basic phone that costs around $50. However, plans with no data and/or limited minutes have almost entirely moved to the virtual mobile companies.

Yes, that's the plan I have; when I signed up a couple years ago they didn't charge for the phone or activation fee. Of course it's not a fancy smart phone, but for my needs, the flip phone is adequate, no complaints.

If you ever get tired of the basic phone, Total Wireless has a $25 a month unlimited talk and text plan on Verizon network where you can use a smartphone. You can then use the Smartphone apps via wifi. They will give you a 5% discount for autopay.
Some people prefer the flip phones simply because the battery lasts forever. But I find them extremely slow to text with.
